Meetings and Schedules

 

These free meetings and advocate services take place at the Mental Health Association, 617 Garden Street, in Santa Barbara.

Monthly Speaker Meetings
4th Thursday of each month.
6:00 pm for dinner; 7:00 pm for program. First floor.
$7 donation requested for dinner.

Weekly Support Groups
English speakers: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Thursday of each month.
6:00-8:00 pm, Second floor conference room.
Spanish speakers: "El Nuevo Amanecer" for families and consumers.

1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
5:30-7:00 pm, First floor.

Family-to-Family 12-week Educational Classes
Offered twice annually, in Fall and Spring. 
Please contact a Family Advocate to inquire or to reserve a place in the next series.


Mental Health Association Services for Families & Clients

Family Advocate
Our family advocate is available to families without charge to help them find community resources for their loved ones and to help them navigate the County system. Please call (805) 884-8440, ext. 105.

Peer Support Services
Families may wish to inquire about the many peer support/recovery groups offered athe MHA/NAMI Garden Street site by the Mental Health Association in parentership with the Santa Barbara County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services Department.
