Services for Families
The Mental Health Association and the local NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) chapter work closely together to provide services for families, in recognition that families are not only vitally affected by a loved one's illness, but are also often the most significant support for that person.
The Mental Health Association's familiy advocate meets with families to offer free services: advice, referrals, and access and advocacy to public services for their loved ones.
Please contact our family advocate, Michaelo Balcazar (English and Spanish-speaking), at (805) 884-8440, ext. 105.
